We offer various yoga styles at Kestrel Studio, have a look at what to expect.
Dynamic – a balance between physical postures and elements of relaxation to leave you feeling refreshed and invigorated. Our classes are fun and challenging and open to both beginners and the more experienced. They will contain varying sequences and poses to keep the body challenged, yet will have enough familiarity to aid progression.
Hatha – gentle, basic yoga classes. A slower-paced stretching-focused class, a good place to work on your alignment, learn relaxation techniques, and become comfortable with doing yoga while building strength and flexibility.
General – these classes are usually for experienced students, who can adapt to various styles based on Hatha yoga.
Yin Yoga – a deep and mindful practice in which floor-based postures are held for 3-5 minutes. This allows the body to slowly stretch and unwind.
Slow Flow – is a balanced combination of sustained poses as well as poses flowing in a mindful progression from one to another. Mindfulness; observing breath and body are an integral part of class. This class provides the balance between a physical workout and a body-mind centering. Beginners welcome.
